As you may know, the Office of Research has formalized a new submission and review process for data use agreements (DUAs). DUAs will be handled by the Clinical and Corporate Research officers similar to MTAs and CDAs. Please take a look at the new website material (including submission instructions and FAQs) that we have posted under the "Research Contracts" part of the OoR website.
We are pleased to offer three informal “roundtable” sessions to allow the research community an opportunity to talk to us about data use agreements and our new process for submitting them. There will be no formal presentation, just copies of DUA materials for discussion and an opportunity to ask questions of myself and some of the CCO officers . I have reserved conference room A in the OoR suite in the lower lobby of the University Club as shown below for these sessions, which do not require any registration:
Thursday 11/5 9am-10am
Monday 11/9 2pm-3pm
Friday 11/13 11am-noon
Please come to one of these sessions if you work in an area that exchanges research data and if after looking at the website materials, you think DUAs may be needed.
