THE PITTSBURGH FOUNDATION
The Pittsburgh Foundation has issued a solicitation for research applications in the areas of cancer, heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease and related diseases of the elderly. Awards will be in the range of $50,000 - $150,000 and will be paid over a one to three year period. Awards are for direct costs only, and the University/Department is expected to provide matching support (cash or in-kind) for the research proposed.
Letters of intent are required and are due to the Pittsburgh Foundation by 5:00 pm on December 14, 2009. Subsequent to review of the letters of intent, a limited number of investigators will be invited to submit full proposals.
