Ivan Tarkin MD, Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma received a $25,000 grant from the Orthopaedic Trauma Association for "Preferential Peroneal Nerve Palsy after Posterior Hip Dislocation and Acetabular Surgery: A Cadaveric Study". Dr. Tarkin gave a lecture at Meadville Medical Center on October 22 titled "Initial Management of Emergent Orthopaedic Trauma". He also recently gave a talk to a Pitt Medical School Orthopaedic Surgery Interest Group regarding Orthopaedic Trauma as a career. |
