Kenji Uehara MD., PhD, a visiting research fellow in Dr. Johnny Huard's Stem Cell Research Center from 2007-2009, was awarded a basic science award at the 35th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (JOSSM) held September 25-26 in Gunma, Japan. The title of Dr. Uehara's talk was "Effects of Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker on Skeletal Muscle Healing after Injury".
