Dr. Ivan S. Tarkin has been appointed Chief of the Division of Orthopaedic Traumatology. Ivan has been serving as the Interim Service Chief and during this time the clinical service volume has continued to expand, research collaboration has remained steady, and we have successfully recruited two additional faculty members to join the Trauma service. Ivan and his wife Paulette have one daughter, Lily. He was appointed Assistant Professor in 2006 after completing an Orthopaedic Traumatology fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center/Region's Hospital in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. He completed his residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center and Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Congratulations to Dr. Tarkin, and we look forward to his continued success. |
