Description: Hannah H. Lee, MD PhD, a Graduate Student in the Cartilage Restoration Lab, was awarded the International Cartilage Repair Society [ICRS] Lars Peterson Basic and Translational Science Young Investigator Award. The title of her talk was “Chondroprotection of Rat Articular Chondrocytes by ADAMTS-5 Antisense Sequence and Gene Delivery by AAV”.

Karin A. Payne, PhD, Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Cartilage Restoration Lab, received an ICRS Travel Scholarship for her presentation entitled “Human Femoral Bone Marrow Cells Obtained During Orthopaedic Surgery as a Potential Cell Source for Articular Cartilage Repair: Influence of Donor Sex and Age” .
