Our annual Residents Research Day was held on Wednesday, May 20, with over 200 faculty and residents in attendance. Dr. Regis O'Keefe, Chair of the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester served as the Albert B. Ferguson, Jr., MD Visiting Professor. The title of Dr. O'Keefe's lecture was "Translational Research Using Animal Models of Human Disease". Four Research Residents and eight Senior Residents presented their research projects. Dr. Kurt Weiss received the award for Best Senior Basic Science Paper, Dr. Alex Kline for Best Clinical Paper and Dr. Steven Leckie for Best Junior Basic Science Paper. |
