Dr. Christopher Harner, Sports Medicine Fellowship Program Director, is pleased to announce that 5 outstanding applicants have matched with University of Pittsburgh for the 2010-2011 academic year. They are:
Dharmesh Vyas – University of Chicago
Jeffrey Macalena – University of Minnesota
Albert Lin – Harvard University
Timothy Miller – The Ohio State University Bradley Wasserman – NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases
Nearly 100 applications were received and 30 candidates were invited to interview with the Sports Medicine Faculty at the Center for Sports Medicine.
The Sports Medicine Fellowship Match was reinstituted this year with 98 programs participating. 82% of all positions matched. Overall, matching 82% of the fellowship positions and 93% of the applicants reflects a high degree of success and indicates that the Match was achieved with a high degree of integrity.
